How do you choose a real estate agent?

The Realtor you choose to work with is a HUGE part of your success when buying or selling. Here are a few key questions to ask:

Are you a full-time or part-time agent?

You want a full time agent to be available for you through the process as well as updated on the constant changes in the market

Do you work with buyers AND sellers?

An agent that works with both buyers and sellers is experienced on both sides of the transaction to help educate you through the process and navigate any obstacles

Which areas do you sell most homes?

Make sure the Realtor you are working with knows the neighborhoods you are looking in

How do you help buyers or sellers compete in this very active market?

An experienced agent should have a few tricks up their sleeve to help their buyers or sellers set themselves apart

What are your hours of operation?

Your agent should have a wide window of availability just as any other business does for their consumers

Why is now a good time to buy or sell?

Your agent should know the market and be able to give you some key points to explain that you are making the right decision to move forward now

In the process of buying or selling a home, you will be working closely with the real estate agent you choose. Communication needs to be comfortable as you make your way through this exciting and emotional journey
